• What is Domain BCycle?

  Domain BCycle is a bike sharing service run by Bike Share of Austin on the Domain property. With 100 bikes available 24/7/365 at 20 station hubs throughout the property, we provide Austinites and visitors alike a fast, easy way to navigate the Domain.

• How do I purchase a pass?

  You can purchase a Domain BCycle pass one of two ways. Method one visit the Join Now page of our website. Method two download the BCycle App and follow the in-app instrutions.

• How does Domain BCycle work?

  To access our network of on-demand bicycles, purchase a membership or pass using the app or our website. Members and pass users can checkout a bike by using the app or a RFID card. When you are done riding, return your bike to any station hub in the system and lock it to a rack.

• How do I know if my BCycle was returned properly?

  When returning your BCycle make sure to use the provided U-lock and lock the bike to one of our red bike racks. The app will let you know when you have properly locked your bike!

• I purchased a pass. How do I check out a bike?

  

• How long can I take a BCycle?

  Domain BCycle is a bike share system created for short distance trips with the bikes returning within a 60-minute window on each trip (EXCEPT single ride passes). Checkouts lasting longer than 60 minutes will be charged an additional fee of $4(plus tax) for each additional 30 minutes past the first hour of a checkout, which is included with your access level. To avoid additional fees, simply check the bike in at 60 minutes or less on each trip so your clock resets.

• What if I want to keep a BCycle all day or longer?

  BCycle is designed for short trips and letting other members and pass holders use the bikes when you do not need one. By checking the bike back in when you are not riding it, you avoid usage fees and allow others who need a bike to use it. If you want a bike all day or multiple days, we recommend contacting one of our local bike rental companies.

• What happens if my bike gets lost or stolen?

  Contact Customer Service immediately at (512) 954-1665. You are financially responsible for any and all bikes checked out of a station on your card. If the bike you checked out is not recovered, you will be responsible for the replacement cost, $1200 plus sales tax.

• What if I am involved in an accident?

  If there has been an injury, please dial 911 first. If appropriate, contact the police, as well. As in any accident, exchange information with any other affected party and collect contact information from witnesses. Contact Customer Service at (512) 954-1665 the earliest appropriate time.

• What if I get a flat tire?

  Please return your bike to the nearest station hub. Contact Customer Service (512) 954-1665 at the earliest convenience to alert them to the maintenance issue so we can lock down the bike for repair. If you cannot get the bike to a station, you must properly secure the bike with the built-in lock and contact Customer Service immediately via phone to let them know.

• How old do you have to be?

  You must be 18 years of age of older to ride Austin BCycle.
