Our Story
Domain BCycle is a partnership between Bike Share of Austin, Stonelake Capital Partners, and the Domain Property Owner's Association. Bike Share of Austin is the non-profit currently operating the downtown Austin BCycle system and OjO Electric scooters. Bike Share of Austin rolled into Austin in December 2013 immediately breaking national records for checkouts during SXSW making it one of the most successful bike sharing programs in the world.
Bike Share of Austin brings 5 years of experience to the Domain bike share system yielding a level of professionalism, service, and quality unmatched by any other company. Domain BCycle features BCycle's first ever connected smart bike. Its beautiful touchscreen display, onboard U-lock, and active GPS make it one of the best offerings in today's bike share market. Our bikes are made by the Trek Bicycle Corporation, a family and employee-owned business with over 40 years of experience driving innovation in the bicycle industry.
